What is Kindle & Ice

The concept of KINDLE & ICE acts as two interconnected forces that are in a constant state of seeking internal balance. The term ICE is associated with qualities such as passivity, darkness and cold, while KINDLE is associated with activity, light, and heat. KINDLE is represented within our sauna therapy and ICE within our ice bath therapy.

Alternating between hot and cold treatments can help alleviate pain – cold constricts blood vessels, reducing inflammation and numbing the area, while heat increases blood flow, relaxes muscles, and promotes healing. Our trained Instructors will work with you to develop a consistent routine that compliments your training and aligns with your health and fitness goals.

UNDERSTANDING HOW ICE BATH THERAPY WORKS

No, we have guides for first timers and the most experienced users.

Whatever you are comfortable with, generally bathers or activewear, be sure to change into clean clothing prior and shower beforehand in the shower provided.

You can benefit from cold therapy anywhere from once a week through to daily.

Your first time is all about exposing yourself to cold therapy, aiming for somewhere between 30 seconds and 2 minutes can be a great start.

Any where from 2 minutes and up to 10-15 depending on experience and tolerance.
